Detailed Content Guidelines
- Word count: 400–1,500 words (1,000–1,400 is the sweet spot for most topics)
- Readability is non-negotiable
- Use descriptive H2 and H3 headings
- Short paragraphs (3–5 lines max)
- Plenty of bullet points, numbered lists, bold highlights, and block quotes
- Include at least one relevant image (royalty-free or your own) with proper alt text if possible
- Tables for comparisons work wonderfully
- Tone & Voice Write like you’re explaining the topic to a smart friend who’s curious but not an expert. Be conversational, confident, and authoritative without sounding academic or salesy. First-person (“I tested…”) or second-person (“you can…”) is perfectly fine and often encouraged.
- SEO-Friendly Without Sacrificing Quality Naturally incorporate the primary keyword in the title, introduction, one heading, and a few times throughout the body. Use related terms and answer real reader questions.
- 100% Original & Exclusive Content Every word must be written exclusively for Textify. We run every submission through multiple plagiarism and AI-detection tools. Previously published articles (even on your own blog, Medium, LinkedIn, or anywhere else) will be rejected automatically.
- Linking Policy
- Zero promotional or affiliate links in the body of the article
- You may include one single contextual, do-follow link to your own website or a relevant resource (ideally placed in the closing section or author bio)
- Internal links to other Textify articles are encouraged when relevant
Submission Process
- Start with a short pitch (3–5 sentences) + proposed title
- If we give the green light, submit the full article as a Google Doc (with editing permissions turned on) or Word file
- We reserve the right to make minor edits for clarity, formatting, and SEO before publishing
- Once published, we’ll promote the article across our channels and newsletter
